The period of work in Jungle was artistically about exploration and openness to new forms, not only visual ones. It involved searching within myself, finding the courage, attempting new things, letting go of the fear of mistakes, and releasing the need for praise. In my mind, there was a strong return to the past, confronting deeply buried situations. There was a lot of struggle, dark memories, but also forgiveness, faith, and appreciation.
It was a magical time, something that cannot be replicated anywhere else. It was a beautiful time spent in the heart of the jungle, with a house featuring a pool, a place for meditation, and a studio upstairs where artworks were created spontaneously based on current emotions arising from my mental and physical state, as well as the context of the contemporary world (dependent on epidemiological situations, legal matters, immigration laws, inflation, price increases).
This period ended with an exhibition of works created during that time.
